About the Position

OiG is seeking a seasoned, highly motivated Salesperson to support our growing sales team. OiG strives to provide exceptional customer experiences by offering top-notch design and space planning services, quality office furnishings, and outstanding customer service to both local and out-of-town organizations. Our Salespersons take pride in building deep, long-term relationships with clients and possess extensive knowledge in everything from furniture installation to the latest design trends. If you are adept at consultation and relationship-based selling, we would love to have you as part of our team!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate with in-house design and project services teams to develop customer proposals.
• Develop expert knowledge of all products, pricing, systems, and procedures.
• Develop customer relationships through the execution of long-term sales strategies, including maintaining customer accounts and regular contact.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner, with courtesy, respect, and good faith.
• Contribute to an outstanding working environment with a positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to work as a team.
• Attend vendor training as required and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings for information sharing and training.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and profit margin goals.

Requirements

• 3 + years of office furniture sales and/or interior design (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• High School Diploma (required).
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
• Strong follow-up skills to ensure timely resolution in meeting customer needs.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and networking skills.
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must have solid comprehensive PC skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Acrobat PDF).
• Excellent attendance record and strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
